QUALITY

FIRE works with premium, specialty grade cannabis strains from top breeders around the world. The genetics we use are handled under the supervision of Health Canada in our Canadian Access to Medical Cannabis registered facility. The SEEDS of the GODS are collections of cannabis genetic families as rich in history, flavours and effects as the deities they represent. The quality of the grow starts with godly genetics.

We follow established good production practices throughout the breeding cycle to ensure our cannabis seeds are always the best they can be.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Fire ensures cannabis seeds are produced according to the highest standards by using small-batch production methods.  Our team of in-house and partner-breeders grow out all their strains to assess their work and adjust their selection and pairings – cannabis strains develop differently depending on the pairing depending on structure, terpenes, THC/CBD strength and size consistency. All of these factors are taken into account to ensure that we bring out the best in every plant and deliver a consistently exceptional strain.

TRANSPARENCY

The specialty cannabis industry has well established practices to ensure transparency. Bearing these standards in mind, Fire’s team employs a partnered direct trade approach to ensure we know where, and from whom, we’re sourcing our beans.  All of our FIRE’s genetics are carefully sourced from within the United States, Canada and Europe. While we don’t grow every strain ourselves, we partner with suppliers who can provide full documentation for their sources.  Furthermore we verify that all of our full spectrum strains meets our standards by performing third party testing for cannabinoid and terpene profiles. Our genetic maps and families of related genetics (shared parents) as Gods and Goddesses, and our taxonomy, commitment to open genetics and attribution of breeding partners is more transparency than anyone could ask for.

ETHICAL SOURCING

With all global markets, there is an opportunity for FIRE to go above and beyond to ensure that the people and communities which supply our seeds are treated in an ethical manner and that environmental concerns are mitigated as well.  FIRE’s sourcing practices embrace this opportunity; we and our sourcing partners get to know the people who develop the strains we source and ensure that they are paid fairly for their work. These partnerships are intended not only to help the deliver higher quality strains in the future, but also to further improve their economic opportunities in general.  As we extend our sourcing philosophy, of course we choose to work closer to home – FIRE purchases mainly from Canadian breeders and nurseries.

EFFICACY

Everyone responds to cannabinoids differently, but it is well established that broad and full spectrum of THC and terpene profiles work better than high THC alone.  Known as the entourage effect, nature’s formulation of principal and minor cannabinoids works to deliver the most benefit. At Fire we embrace a broad spectrum of terpenes with high and low THC, with some concentrations of CBD and elevated minor cannabinoids such as Cannabichromene (CBC) and Cannabigerol (CBG).  Lastly, we choose to avoid the marketing hype employed by some breeders – we don’t falsely claim use of advanced nano technology or focus on the highest strength THC, the  science just doesn’t support these claims. FIRE proudly delivers naturally effective products without the hype. 

INNOVATION

While only bringing the first strains to the market in 2021, the FIRE team and associates have embraced innovation as one of the core tenets of their work for decades. The team is constantly working to improve our products, primarily by sourcing the best available genetics and improving upon our craft.  The team further embraces opportunities to innovate around product packaging to ensure we’re meeting customer needs. Collectors of genetics told us they like the the God families concept, the genetic maps, and appreciate the “the coolest packaging I ever saw”.  And thanks to the  incredible imagery of Iceland’s Hanna Guðmundsson, and digital artist and Web designer. We are committed to supporting original art from people we know and will never use AI imagery.

Fire operates in a licensed Health Canada registered facility.  We’re fortunate to operate in Canada where the government is supportive of medical cannabis businesses and works as a partner to ensure we not only operate safely, but that we deliver healthful products to our customers.  From following good growing practices (GGPs), including full traceability in our breeding process, to securing third party lab testing of all our products, customers can have confidence that they are receiving high quality genetics from FIRE.
